NE1 tHEATRE
NE1 Theatre is a creative theatre company founded and run by Aimee Shaw alongside a number of practitioners from the North East.
Our aims are simple;

-to utilise the rich history of the area to create new work

-to help grow the cultural sector of our region

-to make theatre accessible to even the most remote parts of the North East
We are currently in development for a new play, recounting the history of the Victoria Hall disaster which we hope to launch in 2016.
We are also in discussion with patients from the Freeman Hospital to create a new work set in the Visitor's room of an Intensive Care ward.
